How to read these numbers
"Avoided" is a modelled comparison
It is the difference between a product's net modelled CO₂e and the modelled CO₂e of a conventional equivalent in the same category. It is not a measurement, and it does not represent carbon removed from the atmosphere.
Totals are catalogue-wide, not sales-weighted
Unless stated otherwise, these figures cover every scored SKU once. They are a description of the catalogue, not of what customers actually bought.
Confidence is not averaged
Aggregates mix verified, supplier-declared and estimated inputs. Per-product tiers are preserved on each product page rather than blended into a single headline number.
Credits
Green Credits are a loyalty reward for choosing lower-impact products. They are not a carbon offset and do not represent a claim of emissions removal.
